About
Kevyn Monier, MSW, LMSW, CBT-C, EMDR-Tr
I am the founder of Heart & Mind Healing Therapeutic Services LLC, a Michigan-based telehealth practice providing evidence-based therapy and performance psychology services.
With over 10 years of professional experience, I have served as a U.S. Army Captain and 73A Clinical Social Worker, worked as a psychotherapist for the Department of Defense, and supported student-athletes within a leading Division I athletic program in Michigan. These experiences shaped my structured, disciplined, and results-oriented approach to care.
As a Black and African American therapist, I provide culturally responsive, identity-affirming therapy that recognizes how culture, family, faith, and community influence mental health and performance. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma (including EMDR), stress management, and performance psychology for high achievers and student-athletes.
Clients can expect practical tools, personalized treatment plans, and evidence-based strategies grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and structured progress tracking.
